Relining & Rebasing Of Dentures
To address the gradual bone shrinkage that occurs after tooth loss and causes dentures to become loose, we offer denture relining services. Relining involves refitting the denture base to match the current shape of the patient's gums, ensuring a snug and comfortable fit. The process typically requires two appointments and is recommended every 2 years for most patients.
There are two primary types of relines:
Hard Base Reline: A standard reline method that creates a solid base similar to the existing denture material.
Soft Base Reline (Soft Liner): This reline features a soft, cushion-like base for enhanced comfort.
While relining is an effective solution for denture adjustment, cases with significant gum changes or worn-out teeth may require denture replacement instead. Our team can assess the best option for each patient based on their specific needs and circumstances.
